GL&V Doctoring Technologies offer a complete line of Blade Holders and Doctors for use from the breast roll to the reel drum of the Paper Machine.

Blade Holders: Multiple types are available for non-critical to critical doctoring positions.

Doctors: Doctors are important for both cleaning and sheet removal or dewatering applications.

  • Blade Holders
    • K-Mate series of blade holders provide a versatile design that can be used in many non-critical doctoring positions. Available in 316L Stainless Steel and zinc plated carbon steel.
    • K-Flex series of blade holders offer a self-profiling design used in critical doctoring and sheet removal position. Fabricated in 316L Stainless Steel.
    • K-Flex Duplex blade holder is designed specifically for water removal application.
  • Doctors
    • Doctor support is custom-designed in Carbon Steel Epoxy painted or 316 Stainless Steel, depending on application.
    • Double doctor supports are fabricated in two sections for independent adjustment.
    • Two types of bearings are offered for static and oscillating doctors.
    • Pneumatic loading is provided to allow doctor clearing existing parts for blade end removal.
    • Oscillating system is offered in electromechanical or pneumatic compact units.
    • A saveall pan or deflector is provided for specific applications.
  • Heavy duty fabricated for minimum deflection for vibration free operation
